Will I be able to master riding a scooter?
Hundreds of people have learnt how to ride over the years and every student has mastered the skills required. Remember the braking controls are in the same position as a cycle. Scooters are fully automatic so it is just as simple as twist and go. What are the licencing requirements?
For a 50cc scooter all that is required is a car licence. Larger capacity scooters require an easily obtainable motor cycle licence.
How can I obtain a motorcycle licence?
Easy really; just answer the appropriate questions (5) with Queensland Transport to obtain a Learners Permit. Then enroll in a 'Q-Ride' course to have your skills tested on your machine. Once the 'Q-Ride' course is successfully completed simply redeem your certificate with Queensland Transport and you are on the road. If you are already fortunate enough to own a scooter, we are always looking to trade in scooters or buy back scooters. Remember, we have a range of used scooters available for sale.

How often do I get my scooter serviced?
Here at Scooters Scooters we have full time service staff and a fully operational onsite workshop. After your purchase of a new scooter, the recommended service schedule is at the first 500km then every 2500km thereafter.
Can I take passengers on a scooter?
Most of the scooters we sell are able to be purchased as either single seat or double seat. A single seat is a good option for commuters as it is cheaper to register, wheras a double seat allows for fun times on the weekends. Come instore and ask about the seating price options.
